Cliff Lede Vineyards was established in 2002, when Canadian businessman Cliff Lede purchased S. Anderson Vineyard, a family-owned producer of still and sparkling wines established in 1971. Set at the northern end of the Stags Leap District, the winery has 50 acres of estate vineyards and seven acres under lease, planted to the red varietals Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petite Verdot.
The tasting room is located in a restored 1913 Craftsman-style building surrounded by lovely gardens. Open to the public daily from 10am-5pm with tours at 10:30am and 2:30pm. Private tours by appointment. Stunning caves, beautiful gardens and wonderful art make the twice-daily walking tours an unforgettable part of any visit to the Napa Valley. Just a stone's throw away from the winery, perched on the eastern hills of the District, will be the Poetry Inn, a luxury bed and breakfast slated to open early 2005.
