This is a very nice example of an Oregon Pinot Gris. The flavor is big, spiced pears with aromas of spring rains on deciduous leaves and fresh cut grass. It starts crisp and clean and finishes up with a swirl of flavor and character. My first impression of this wine reminded me of a slick spike of glassy, emerald water flowing into a nice churning hole of white water. Makes me want to hit the river!
