The Healdsburg Travelodge is well located as a base for exploring the wine country while being only 70 miles north of San Francisco. With rates starting at under $75 a night, it is a great hotel for those on a slightly lower budget.

There are many attractions nearby. In addition to the numerous wineries, there are many scenic places to visit such as redwoods, the Russian river and Warm Springs dam. You can also take advantage of local hiking trails, horseback riding, train rides, mud baths plus many more activities. Healdsburg itself offers fine dinging and some great shopping.
